I know you're ready for him to be fully potty trained, but maybe he isn't quite there. My son was 3 when he finally marched into the kitchen and announced, "I'm a big boy now. I'm going to wear my big boy underwear." So, I guess if you are willing to wait awhile longer and just keep encouraging without pushing he will make up his own mind soon enough.
He is just going though a phase, thinking this is the way he can fit in with his peers. He'll grow out of it, you can speed up the process, to stop this, firstly you have to play fire with fire.
So don't knock it, or he will dislike you for knocking him. The best way is to stand back and let him figure it out himself. Making him wear the clothes "everywhere" especially to places where he totally looks out of place. Also don't ever financially supporting one cent of your money towards buying the crap he's wearing.
Make him wear them while he dose the dirty household chores, like shovelling snow off the driveway, mowing and weeding the garden, washing the dishes and doing the laundry and folding clothes also as he cleans up the garage, car, the house windows, take out the garbage, prune trees, white washing the fences etc.
Always keep him busy, to keep him off the net as much as you can, and if he asks for money to buy clothes. Keep telling tell him without ever giving in, or laughing. As for the Cd's and video games etc, a little baby oil accidentally on purpose spilt on them by you, will give you and him a few weeks rest from using them, being they will totally unplayable as they dry out.
Reverse psychology always works, there is always plan B, sign and enrol him in a local sports team.

you definitely need to tell him how you feel and you do have a right to get mad because he is still talking to her and as you said until you told him he had her stuff everywhere so you definitely have a right to be mad
Jenni is the name you should use..add details first befor i tell you how to dress you have to tell me WHY you are dressing like this here is a star I will check back to see if you have added details…oh she is so wrong for that I would make her get the cloths and matter of fact borrow hers..and get stains all over them…just wear jeans and girl color t shirta thets how they dress and wear her panties too…lol
Skip the kissing on the lips and wearing underwear only parts. Skip the undressing parts. Skip the putting hands wherever they want. Parents should be able to approve of everything you do.
Keep this untrashy and definitely sanitary. No drinking out of the belly button.
Go outside and holler, run around the house outside, etc. Clean stuff.
Potty training takes time and lots of patience. Usually positive reinforcement, and a rewards system works best. Never punishing for accidents. All in all, they will pretty much be potty trained when they are ready.
